Half of an isho dansu (clothing chest) from Nihonmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Built with a sugi wood case and keyaki wood drawer faces. Hand forged iron hardware distinctive to Nihonmatsu. Iron decorative detailing and double-lock buttons.
