Japanese firefighter's hanten 半纏 (heavier weight coat made popular in the 18th century) with sashiko 刺し子 (traditional hand stitching or quilting used as reinforcement and decoration) throughout. The coat is made from multiple layers of cotton held together with upwards of 100 stitches per square inch. Tsutsugaki 筒描 (resist dye technique) pattern application.
Exterior features a solid blue field. Interior backside features a circle with kanji, possibly 耕 or 畊. The bottom features block written kanji and the front has kanji, possibly 大周, written on the lapel.
