Household God. Ebisu is one of the 7 lucky god's. He is a fisherman's god and has always been appreciated by anyone wanting a regular meal. He becomes a hearth god along with Daikoku. Many like this one are covered in soot from the kitchen fire. Over time, getting enough to eat becomes having enough money. Now he is seen primary as a god of wealth.
