Tibetan Carpets can be seen as both objects of craft for use and visual delight. These carpets are made from stout fiber and though this limits the knot count to between 60 and 100 knots per square inch, it offers carpets of thickness that wear extremely well. These carpets are woven by the Tibetan refugee community in Nepal. We are proud to support this community and participate in an ongoing and evolving weaving tradition. Writing translates to " for the sake of it".
