SCROLLS
Scrolls serve as a mounting format for 2D works of art. The two main types of scrolls are hanging and hand. Hanging scrolls are often displayed vertically in tokonoma while hand scrolls are rolled horizontally and open different widths at a time to display a story or long scene.
